Busy with routine activities delays new posts for several days in this blog. To cover hiatus post, this time I write a bit longer than usual with topic about how to increase traffic for blog with using 11 ways. Even though many people have been writing about this topic, but it is remaining interesting to be discussed and necessary. Okay guy, I don’t want to waste the time so we go to the points, how to increase blog traffic base on my opinion. Here are 11 ways how to increase blog traffic:
1. Learn more about your topic
Blog topic determines the success of blog where visitors usually decide whether necessary to drop or not to our blog. If our Blog Topics do not comply with what they are expected, the visitor will immediately flee explore other blogs. But if the topic is suitable, the visitor will not endure, and even not reluctant to spend money in the blog
2. Write post very often in a regular basis
If you can write every day, that's good. If not, you can do in a Regular basis and should be consistent as it will bring us to certain level in search engine. we know that this part is easy, but no other choices. That why we should write, and create post a regular basis. People usually find fresh information and most updated news
3. Submit your blog on Technorati
Probably some of you will ask about the benefits to register our blog with Technorati. As per my understanding, if we register our blog, Technorati will share our blog in among member in Technorati directory; in addition we also get a free backlink if we submit post, because Technorati will make a link to each post on our blog. Other benefits it will help to improve the page rank our blog. By default, Technorati index all sites in the world, so without sign up, our blog have opportunity to remain listed on Technorati, but it may take that long way to get indexed. By sign up, it will be faster.
4. Add comment box below of your post
Adding comment box means that we are welcome for any input and feedback. we also allow our visitor to give Comment in our post, so this how we communicate with them and make some responds. Adding comment box also provides some friendly indirect ads to the commentators promote in our blog. How can we say that it friendly indirect ads? When we left comment in other blog, our name in other blog will redirect to our blog. But you need to put in our URL on the blog post we intend to give comment. Friendly indirect ads, in this case leave some comment is cost free advertisement.
5. Use social book mark button below of your posts
Social Bookmarking is a way for internet users to store, classify, share and search Internet bookmarks.
With social bookmarking, user can save any things that they are useful. Then bookmark that we saved can be viewed by other users. Bookmarking even can also be sorted base on popularity content, fitness topics, and tags or even random. The growth of social Bookmarking is also developing social news such as del.icio.us, reddit, Digg and Netscape portal.
6. Post on weekdays
I did post several articles during weekdays and you know it was very less visitors my blog. I might suggest you not to waste your time to do writing and make a post during weekend. I not sure exactly, but I guess that weekend is family day and they use less on the internet. That why, posting on weekdays in recommendable. If you don’t like Monday, probably I do as usually there are more traffic. LOL.
7. Don't promote yourself and your business or your books
My understanding about this point is to refrain from over commercial looking blog which less preferred by readers. Indeed, for some of us, make money from blog is one of the goals, but we could well hide the intention of the reader purposely as though we're not blogging for money. As I read an article about blogging before I started once; it seemed that one of blogging failure is when we are thinking of blogging for money.
8. Patience and tenacity
As mentioned many times on my previous post about patience and tenacity is the key of success to be able to build blog traffic, get more readers. There is nothing to replace the position of the patience and tenacity unless a patience. I know, the traffic level and reders visiting my blog is not easy to control all this, especially if we refer to point no. 2 about often about post in regular basis. This is a consequence that must be accepted by all and all my blogger, but patience and tenacity win the racecourse. Today, I receive an email regarding review purchase from my blog for US$68 [sorry I shouldn’t mention the figure, but I wish to share with you].
9. Check spelling and grammar before posting.
Write an article in a simple words and easy to read. Avoid using confusing words as we hope that our article could be read by all readers’ level. Remember, some readers are new and they don’t know about what we are talking about. So, consider using interesting article that can be accepted by old and new readers. Don’t forget to check spelling and grammars before posting.
10. Select communities that match your topic.
Join with those who have the same interests necessarily easier than you join with the community in different interest. For example, people who like technology to gather in regular Digg, and they are like photo sharing they will be in Facebook or Friendster. From this community, you can dig up what content is most appropriate for your community.
11. Submit blog in different search engine, Blog and RSS directories
Sometimes we forget to do this point. Most of us are too tired after writing articles on the submit blog in different search engines, Blog and RSS directories much help our blog to ease being index search engine. Submitting to search engines is a way to be more easily recognized by search engines and possibility to appear in top search engines list.

Everyone of us want to have traffic in our blog increase everyday, everyone of us want to see more and more visitor when we wake up in the morning, but its not easy. We need some kind of efforts to aim all this. Basically, traffic building is a main thing in the world of blog or website for it growth. Things that need to be done for us as a blogger or internet marketers is how to build traffic first before campaign and commercial purpose.
